Our streamlined bulk-bill process makes dental care simple and stress-free. Using the convenient HICAPS online portal, we handle direct claims with your health fund on your behalf. If your policy fully covers the treatment, you won’t have any out-of-pocket expenses for eligible services.
At Bluewater Dental, we believe quality dental care should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their health fund provider. While we are preferred providers for Smile.com.au, CBHS, and NIB, we proudly accept all major Australian health funds, including Bupa and HCF, for bulk-billed, gap-free check-ups and professional cleans.
As long as you hold an active Australian health fund membership and have available annual limits, our friendly team will help process your bulk-bill claims quickly and seamlessly.
We also proudly accept the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS), helping eligible children aged 2 to 17 access essential dental care in a comfortable and supportive environment.
Under the CDBS program, eligible children can receive up to $1,158 in dental benefits over two consecutive calendar years. Once the benefit period ends, eligibility may renew for the following cycle if criteria continue to be met.

Eligibility is assessed at the beginning of each calendar year and remains valid for the full year. If a child becomes eligible later in the year, their eligibility is typically backdated to 1 January of that calendar year.
